It is often visited by pilgrims, Jews, Christians, Muslims and Druze, seeking deliverance from physical or mental ailments. It is said that in this place there were several miraculous healings. The following story told me late Dr. Chaplin, head of the group for many years medical mission missionary doctors E-Gee-Es in Jerusalem. One day he brought a Jewish girl suffering from a nervous breakdown. After examining her, the doctor decided that her disease is curable, but the process will take time. At first the family agreed to leave her in the hospital, but after some time was taken, despite the exhortations of the doctor. They said that she was not ill, but only possessed by a demon, and therefore need appropriate treatment.
