Book review

Laci Rae Stevens is a best-selling horror novelist, and her husband Jacoby has a leading role in the most talked about vampire movie of the year. The young couple relocate to a small town called Crimson to be closer to the movie set, and the actor surprises his wife with her dream house. Many folks warn them that the family who previously owned their house is cursed. After delving further into the mystery of the curse, and focusing on her new book about vampires, Laci starts to question if the creatures of the night could actually exist, and if vampirism could be linked with the family's curse. Plagued with nightmares, illness, and visits from a mysterious man claiming to be a vampire, Laci decides to investigate further, only to find out that her life is in danger due to the supposed curse. Worried if she'll make it out alive, she questions deeper the existence of vampires, and if she would want to become one. The only things she's certain of are her love for her husband, and that she is determined to find all the answers, even if it kills her.
